We had an excellent stay. Will come back for shure! Staff is very well trained.

The Italian Restaurant was very good but to expensive compared to other good Restaurants.

The facilities were absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Our room was a good size (king bed studio with additional sofabed). The kitchenette was adequate (mini frig, microwave, sink, 2 burner stove top). So if you want to save money, you can bring food with you! The views from the resort were spectacular! The food was excellent throughout the resort, though a bit over priced. Loved the spa salad served at lunchtime at The Deck restaurant located by the lower pool... Excellent value for $12. My husband thought $18 was a bit much for a hamburger & fries. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and bent over backwards to help. My kids really like being able to roast marshmellows and make s'mores at the campfire at the front entrance of the hotel every evening - nice touch (too bad the s'mores kits weren't complimentary too! :) The food at Teca was very good - enjoyed a delicious birthday dinner there! My kids really enjoyed the huge inflatable waterslide in the lake - just wished there were a few more things like that in the water for them to enjoy (like at Cleveland House) - unfortunately the Marriott does not have a huge beachfront swimming area as their docks/boats take up quite a bit of it.. There was a smaller quieter swimming area off to the right but my kids liked the inflatable slide and wanted to stay in that location. I would also suggest to management to maybe hire a magician for the kids' evening entertainment as the live band (though very good) was definitely more geared to adults only. Too many kids were running around during their performance. All in all, I would definitely go again!

Please note there is a very long walk (lots of stairs) down to the water, so make sure you don't forget anything! There was a shuttle / golf cart service available to take you down to the beach, but did not find out about it until our last day - through my kids! :They really should have told us about this when we checked in. :) There definitely weren't enough chairs down by the waterfront... They would need about 10-12 more either lounge or Muskoka chairs. Some people had to put towels on the sand or sit along the dock. I understand it was a busy Labor Day weekend, but with the room rates they charge & the extra $20 per day resort fee - they should be able to get more chairs. The pool area never seemed to be a problem with seating. They did run out of towels quite a bit, but new ones arrived within 1/2 hr. Upon arrival, I would have appreciated a more detailed map of the interior of the hotel... Had no idea where the video/games room was... I was only handed a general map of the grounds, with the 3 day weather forecast, the menu available for room service, and a list of daily activities (most were at an additional charge). The rates at the Spa were a bit over the top.... Never tried any service there, so can't say if it was worth the money or not. A standard massage was $195 here, I usually pay $125 at other well regarded 4-5 star resorts, there was also an additional "spa fee" to use the spa pool etc... Also did not like that you could not bring your "alcoholic drinks" from the pool restaurant ...down to the waterfront or even by where you were sitting by the pool - they had to stay in "the Deck" restaurant area. You could bring "virgin" drinks etc...down though.

I totally Loved IT ALL!! The staff were amazing and the rooms were so beautiful! the pools were awesome . The location and the view was wonderful. I will be coming back for sure!

I could only say that I would of loved that there would of been entertaiment , in the evening a stage production of any kind would of been a highlight we did have a piano player and that was very good . Also there was a lot of stairs to get to the other levels of the resort! I will need to be in better shape next time I visit! lol

The hotel is beautifully located in a bay on Lake Rosseau, allowing for swimming, sunning and exploring by canoe/Booked.net.

Food was average and overpriced and easily doubled our bill when there. but you pay for the convenience factor (not to mention the views from the patio).

Fantastic Hotel Loved, great for families lots to do perfect location staff very friendly and accomodating. we had a great time family vacation 2 adults and 2 kids 5 and 9

The hotel is beautiful, staff wonderful we really enjoyed our stay, we think that to charge an extra $20 resort fee on top of the room rate is not appropriate, when paying up to $300+ for a room the cost of using the facilities is expected to be included

We had a fantastic stay at Lake Rosseau, beautiful location, pool area excellent for small children. We will definitely return when visiting Canada again.

We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and the service wasn't very good we had an hour wait for our main meal which was only a pasta dish, we wouldn't eat at the Italian again.
